As access to this is through the 4Projects extranet there is no need to be concerned about access across and into disparate company networks. From this all parties to the project depending upon the rights and permissions granted to them by the Client can access, upload, collaborate and share the information required. Once the asset is complete and commissioned then over its lifetime enhancements, additions, revamps, shutdowns, turnarounds, debottlenecking for example may lead to further projects associated with the asset. As 4Projects has retained all the information in a searchable format during the development and construction phase then the extranet can be used during these subsequent activities safe in the knowledge that the correct information is available in the “project archive” and can then be used, amended and revised as these sorts of projects are undertaken and completed
