4Projects have many Clients who utilise a number of software platforms across their business and have been asking 4Projects to provide them the facility to have the 4Projects application integrated with any number of various software systems. We are pleased to announce that at the beginning of May we released our fully comprehensive "Webservices API" which effectively means that a Client can then integrate 4Projects with any other system whether internally or externally hosted.
Many of these potential integrations will provide our Clients with various opportunities to further enhance their operations sharing data across other platforms seamlessly. Typical examples might be

• Internal document creation and management systems e.g. Documentum, Livelink, Sharepoint
• Project scheduling tools e.g. Primavera
• Business management systems e.g. SAP, Oracle
• Windows environments e.g. Desktop integration
• Web applications
• Vista gadgets and the like

4Projects have  already released a tool to our Clients which utilises the Webservices environment giving "drag and drop" integrated functionality with a Client Windows Operating System. 4Explorer is an elegant simple tool giving our Clients the ability to quickly move documents and files from their local drives to the 4Projects extranet system.

A fully annotated Software Developers Kit (SDK) has been issued and is available on request. 4Projects Development Team are happy to assist in providing further guidance and help in ensuring that our Clients can achieve the level of integration they need to make their business or project operate ever more efficiently and effectviely without significant investment in infrastructure and application support.
